1. Increase police pay
Police wages must keep up with those of market professionals in order to keep existing and new recruits from going elsewhere. That the calibre and integrity of the police directly affects our safety and so they should be duly rewarded.
2. Higher penalties for theft and burglary
These are not petty crimes and should be severely punished since they have a deep personal affect on their victims and also make bigger crimes possible.
